i'm going home tomorrow! let's go hang out! lol =P

i can't believe it's already august 11th and i'm done with the majority of my summer. my last week at wilmerhale was pretty much me wrapping up my work and saying "i can't believe this is over in x number of days..." i have to admit, i'm a bit nervous about the year to come and what is to come after but i'm definitely excited and slowly building up my confidence and convincing myself that i can do it (with lots of encouragement and love from people...especially brian ....thank heavens).  I also met some great people this summer and i hope our relationships last forever.

i finally got to celebrate brian's birthday (the official one and not a half birthday!) with him and it was awesome. the goal was to give him the bestest birthday ever  and make him extreeeeeeeeeemely happy and it seemed to come rather close =P hopefully lol or so he says hahahaha =P thanks to everyone who contributed to the card and came up and everything! the surprises couldn't have happened without ya'll.

i guess i've learned a lot this summer...about myself...always so much more to learn but i think i've made some progress.  i think i need to remind myself to look for the silver lining in everything and remember to search for those positive bits that exist in everything.  it's easy to get pulled down and feel lost/behind when the world is moving so fast, but as brian always used to tell me (and other people as well) babysteps! lol =P

and now a list of things to look forward to:

• houston: august 13-18th!!! yay to seeing family and friends and also going to the li mei hua dance gala!
• boston after that: back into brian butt's arms and moving into my new dorm!
• phi delts rush hopefully something i can participate in!
• going to NY/NJ to return the car to ericka and some visiting
• serenus visiting boston!
• SENIOR year at MIT starting
  
• 2nd year anniversary with my brian butt -september 13th

i can't believe this semester is almost done (almost...because i'm ahhhing over 003 and 034 finals!!!). lol i've felt kind of numb to it--like it's been going, i've been doing my work and studying, but i'm just like...did it really happen? it's an odd feeling i must say lol.

yayyy it's like snow storming! or it was last night...13 inches of snow about i think they said? i was sinking into the snow and slipping and sliding all over the place hahaha. poor brian had to piggy-back me through the big snow parts because i would just fall right into it!  yayyy i'm excited! i hope i get to finally build a snowman! (if i do there WILL be pictures on facebook =P)

it's been a lovely christmas season so far! hahaha as usual i couldn't wait to give brian his gift =) but i'm glad he liked it! and as for meeee, i got a new mug (since i break them so often o.O) and tickets to see the broadway HAIRSPRAY in nyc with brian butt in january!!!! yay =D who's excited? I AM!!! alsooo christina gave me a "happily ever after" pillow =) (thank you very much!) and brian and i got a new knife set to help us with cooking at brian's apartment! w00t =)

just a fewwww more days! rough ones though...i'm not enjoying fourier transforms and fourier series and convolution and sampling and modulation and all that ickyness of signals and systems...i just want it to be donneee and over with!

must..hang..on...in...there...=P after i eat my ice cream and apple pie though of course!!
